TRADITIONAL TIMBER ORANGERY
THE SIX BELLS RESTAURANT, WITHAM ON THE HILL, LINCOLNSHIRE
Our client for this project was having major concerns about obtaining planning permission on this wonderful building and had all but given up hope of getting their extension built. The extension was not for extending the restaurant but to add extra living space.
At bespoke Design we have our own planning department and once we had sited our case we obtained planning permission to build our timber orangery.
Our clients having earlier employed architects to design the extension had employed their own builders and electricians that they used before to build the extension and stone work for the orangery. We were asked to create the orangery design which you see above which they were very pleased with.
The extension behind our orangery has two extra bedrooms and a bathroom and a prestige kitchen. Our part was to design the orangery for a lounge area for relaxation. The orangery benefits from solar glass in the roof and Low E glass to the elevation frames. The whole project took 13 days to build and complete.
